Jeanne-Marie Cantereau is a Thames artist.
For years her passion has been the traditional watercolour for its transparency, challenge and adventure as water and pigments react in different ways. This of course creates surprises both –wonderful and disasters.
Jeanne-Marie enjoys painting in plein air and shares her passion and experience doing workshops and leading an active watercolour painting group weekly in Thames.
Her paintings can been seen at Thames Society of Arts Gallery, the Source (Coromandel Town), The Gallery (Ngatea). She regularly takes part in National Exhibitions as well as solo and shared exhibitions.
She has created and self-published her illustrated “French Cooking in New Zealand”, recipe book.
