Artist Statement

For the past few years I have been incorporating other natural resources (such as stone, seed pods,
drift wood, clay) into my weaving practice with harakeke still being my dominant medium.
The pieces I make are as natural as possible to show the beauty of the medium I am working with.
I am currently studying through Te Waananga o Aotearoa so hope to bring to this year’s arts tour
some traditional pieces alongside my more contemporary work.
